President’s Message

Diana Planning and preparations are underway for the 48th annual Tacoma Highland Games to be held on Friday evening, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th, 2017. In addition to Saturday’s Highland Games, we are excited once again to offer a Friday evening of Celtic entertainment.

Our Board of Directors and Key Volunteers are hard at work arranging for entertainment and judges, contacting clans and vendors, and publishing brochures and posters. This group of dedicated volunteers works year-round to ensure the success of the Highland Games at Frontier Park in Graham, Washington.

The Tacoma Highland Games Association is a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed to educate the public about Celtic heritage, culture and traditions. The event provides a venue for clan organizations to share and exchange history and genealogy information. This is a “family friendly” event featuring amateur competition in highland athletics, highland dance, piping and drumming.

An open invitation for membership in the Tacoma Highland Games Association is extended to you, your family and acquaintances. The Membership form is available on this website.

Remember to mark June 23rd - June 24th, 2017 on your calendar and come prepared to enjoy this family event and experience a “bit of the Highlands” at Frontier Park.
